My sims Challenges

Day 5

I finally decided to post the ending to this challenge. Sorry it has been so long since I last posted.

I missed a day somewhere, since I only have three sims left and I should have four at this point. I have decided to just finish the challenge now.

After Melissa left, everyone sat down on the couch to watch TV. There was only room for two of the girls on the couch with the bachelor, so Erica had to sit by herself.

soon it was time for everyone to get in the hot tub. Since there were only three contestants left, they were all able to get into the same hot tub as the bachelor.

After the time in the hot tub, Robert Took the girls aside one at a time and gave them a romantic kiss.

The next morning it was time for one of the girls to go, unfortunately for Nancy. Here she is saying goodbye.

I wasn't watching the women close enough right after Nancy left, and Fran jumped into Robert's arms. Of course this made Erica Jealous.

So this pretty much screwed up the ending to the batchelor challenge. I did have the women climb into the hot tub with Robert.

After which they ate their last meal together

Then they went to bed. During the night they had a visitor.

Who made off with the hot tubs. It's a good thing they didn't need them anymore. I decided not to go through with the flirting interactions and I just sent Erica out. Here is Erica finding a new place to live.

After Erica left, it was time for Robert to propose to Fran...

Who admires the ring...

and quickly accepts, thus ending my Batchelor Challenge.

Just a couple of comments: It is really hard to keep the girls from flirting with the batchelor during their free time. To be honest, earlier in the challenge another girl flirted with Robert and causing a lot of jealousy among the others. I didn't save the game and quit. This time I just let it play through.

The reason that it's been so long since I last posted is because of the flirting by Fran, and I got interested in another videogame which I have been playing. Now that I can get back to my Prosperity Challenge I should be playing the sims a lot more.

Bachelor Challenge Day 4

Day Four started with everyone but Erica in one hot tub.

although they talked a lot it seemed their daily relationship scores slipped a bit. After their time in the hot tub, Robert took each of the ladies aside and talked to them about their interests.

Robert worried about the challenge and whether he would pick the right contestant to be his wife.

then he sat down and had dinner with Nancy.

After a good night's sleep for everyone, Robert decided to get the flirts out of the way before breakfast. Erica was first. The order was the same for everyone except Melissa. They were goosed, caressed and then held hands.

With Melissa, the option to Goose wasn't there, so I used charm, caress and hold hands on her.

Bachelor Day 3

Day 3 started out in the hot tub.

Fran and Nancy were left on their own.

Soon after, The ladies sat down at the chess table while Robert made his rounds.

Robert also played chess with Nancy, but I don't have the picture. After playing chess with Nancy, he spent some extra time with her, sitting with her on the couch and hanging out on the front lawn.

Erica didn't seem too happy about all the attention that Robert was showing to Nancy. They had a late dinner/early breakfast around the table.

It soon time for Robert to flirt with the ladies.

after all the flirts were over, it was time for the rose ceremony. Here is the scorecard.

Bachelor Challenge Day 2

After the rose ceremony it was time for everyone to get in the hot tub. Although I don't have pictures of them, Erica, Melissa and Tracy were the ones to get in the hot tub with Robert. That left Patty, Nancy and Fran to get in the other tub. After a couple hours they got out.

Later, they had dinner and then Robert decided to chat with the ladies. here he is chatting with Fran, but she wasn't interested in what he was talking about, even though he dragged her out of bed to talk to her.

When he talked to Nancy, she remained outside and he stayed inside.

I talked to Erica and Patty too but didn't get pictures of them. It was time to go bed. Early the next morning, Robert woke up and began to flirt with the ladies. His first flirt with Tracy was a sweettalk that she didn't accept.

Since I saw that sweet talk wasn't going to work, I tried the old charm on them.

First Fran.

Then Erica (or was it Erica and then Fran? they look alike in their nightgowns).

Then Patty.

And Melissa.

I didn't get a picture of Nancy, but she accepted the flirt as well.

After the flirts, Robert went downstairs to get a bite to eat. he sat down at the table with Melissa, Tracy and Erica (or was it Fran?)

Bachelor Challenge Meet and Greet

The women mingled on the front lawn for awhile, then Robert came out to meet them. He talked to Erica first, then hung out with Erica and Melissa.

After dinner Robert watched a pillow fight between Erica and Melissa, then decided to watch some TV. Rebecca came over and sat down next to him.

Robert talked to other ladies as well. Robert tried to hug patty, but it didn't work. He was able to hug Fran though and became friends first with Erica.

Everyone came into the living room to say goodbye to Rebecca.

Bachelor Challenge

Welcome to the Bachelor, sims style. Meet our bachelor, Robert Sim. He is a family sim and is looking for Mrs. Right. He is hoping to find her in our field of contestants.

Now let's meet the woman who are vying for Robert's attention. First we have Erica Kittron, a knowledge sim.

Next we have Fran Newman, another redhead and another knowledge sim.

Third is Melissa Beming, brown hair and a popularity sim.

Fourth is a blonde knowledge sim by the name of Nancy Graham.

Fifth is our other blonde, Patty Sterling, a fortune sim.

Our fifth contestant is Rebecca Collins, our only black haired sim, with a family aspiration..

and our last Contestant is Tracy Grant, with short black hair and a pleasure aspiration.

Everyone is anxious to begin.

Sting me Challenge part 3

After my last promotion, Melanie called the adoption agency and requested a child, Even though Melanie was expected to work the next day. She stayed home and when the car arrived, Melanie requested a toddler. The girl's name is Emma.

Due to Melanie trying to get Emma's learning in, her dating Kennedy was put to the side. Finally Emma learned to walk, talk and use the potty and even learned some Charisma points. Melanie called on the phone and got a nanny to come over, and then asked Kennedy out on a date. They went out on a couple of dream dates and then Melanie used the energizer to get her needs back up to full before work.

I'm not sure why, but Melanie wasn't able to get promoted in the next few days. She went on several dates and even a couple of outings with Kennedy, leaving Emma with a nanny. By now Emma was a child and had started school. I do let Emma study and get skill points.

Finally Melanie was promoted to CEO! Only one more Promotion to go. She is still making friends, having the want to have 10 best friends.

Three days later, she got her promotion to Business Tycoon. Kennedy was the only one needed to pull strings for her.

Now I am going to switch her over to Law Enforcement to get her long term want. I will also use the string me challenge to do this, so I will post How it goes here.

I think one thing that is essential to help her get promotions is the energizer. I used it both at night before I went on dates and in the morning before I went to work.

String Me Challenge

Melanie has been going on dates with Kennedy, reaching dream date every time. The next time she went to work, she was promoted to Executive, and brought home someone new. I hung out with her for awhile, getting her up to friend status, then went out on a date with Kennedy again.

The next day she was off, so I invited Kennedy over, and went on a group outing. We spent a couple hours in the pool and kissed and made out. We got up to the level right above the top, then Kennedy had to leave. When he left, I got a pop up saying something about hanging out with intellectuals and giving me one logic point.

Melanie has also done more studying in the cooking skill, and now is level 9. I also invited another Sim over to become friends with Melanie, but just as I was greeting her, Kennedy called to invite me on a dream date. I said yes to Kennedy, and goodbye to the female Sim.

When she went to work the next morning, Melanie got a chance card. She was in a golf tournament with the president of the company. The choices were to play her best, or play poorly. I chose to play her best. The president was impressed, giving Melanie a promotion to Vice president and 2 logic and 2 creativity skill points. I guess it pays to play your best. He also gave her the rest of the day off.

I didn't have long to revel in Melanie being a vice president, as when she arrived at home, Kennedy pulled some more strings and Melanie received a promotion to being a President. Only two more levels to go in the business field. I tried calling Kennedy right after getting home and asking for a date, but he was working. D'oh! Of course he was.

Not only did Melanie get a promotion to being the president, but she checked her mail and got a free dinner coupon! This will be used on the next dream date with Kennedy.

Here is my skills bar. I need two friends, so I think I will take my vacation day and work on getting two of the Sims I have already met up to friend status. I also called the adoption agency and am going to adopt a toddler.

One thing I never noticed before about the business track is the hours seem to be the same or close to the same for all of the jobs so far. they start around 8 or 9 AM and everyone gets off at 4 PM.

String Me Challenge

I have chosen the String Me Challenge for the sims 2.

Here is the Sim I decided to use in the Challenge. Her name is Melanie Custer, and she is a popularity Sim. She is an Aries with the following points:

Sloppy/neat 5
Shy/Outgoing 8
Lazy/Active 6
Serious/Playful 1
Grouchy/Nice 5

Her LTW is to become Captain Hero, But she is currently in the Business career track since she had an aspiration want to join that business. I let her study one Charisma point, since that is what was needed for to get her first promotion.

On the first day of work, she got a chance card that gave her a promotion and a charisma point.

She also brought home someone from work, Kennedy Vanderbilt, one of my playable sims from the neighborhood. Since he is playable in another house, I checked him out and found out he was a business tycoon already, so she will hopefully be able to use him to get further along.

Her next promotion came two days later without any help. she needed a creativity skill point now, so she wasn't going to get any more promotions on her own. At first I was too tired when I got home from work to do any schmoozing, however I did get an energizer machine, which helped a lot. I now was able to step into the machine upon arriving home from work and getting all my needs up to full.

Since then I have been going on two dates with Kennedy every night, One that she calls for and gets, and the second one when he calls up and invites her downtown about an hour after I get back from the first date.

I do talk to other sims as well, and am now up to 4 friends, including Kennedy. Finally, after about a week, Melanie has got another promotion, this time with Kennedy pulling strings.

This is where she is at right now, A junior Executive. I will play the game again later.

I would like to mention a couple of strange things in my game, even though it has nothing to do with the challenge.

One of the sims that came with the welcome wagon followed Melanie into the bathroom and stood right next to her as she sat on the toilet, peeing. I have had this before, but it is so hilarious.

also, Melanie had a sports party and invited Kennedy and another Sim over. Apparently Kennedy was low on hygiene so he decided to take a shower at Melanie's house. I always thought that Sims visiting the lot couldn't use the shower or bed. I am not sure if this has anything to do with Kennedy being another of my playable sims or not.
